Fred Vasseur, who became the team principal of Ferrari in January of this year, faces a difficult task, as the team has not won an individual championship in Formula 1 since 2007 and a constructors’ championship since 2008. The team is working hard behind the scenes to regain a winning position and for this they need to hire new professionals. However, it is not easy in the current job market in Formula 1, as the top 50 experts usually have contracts lasting three or more years. Furthermore, the Ferrari team is in a more difficult position compared to the British teams, as it requires convincing engineers and their families to move to Maranello. Vasseur has already recruited several experts, but due to their existing contracts, they haven’t been able to start working for Ferrari yet.
